WHAT:Beginning on Tuesday, June 4, CNBC’s “Business Center with Ron Insana and Sue Herera” will feature a three part series on real estate as an alternative investment. The series begins on Tuesday, June 4, with a current overview of the real estate market and investment opportunities that are available within the sector. On Wednesday, June 5, “Business Center” looks at the cost of homes across the country in areas including Detroit, Chicago, Washington DC, Florida and Silicon Valley. The final part on Thursday, June 6 explores current mortgage rates and financing costs to see if now is the time to buy or refinance. Additionally, each night in live “In Depth” roundtables some of the brightest minds in the real estate sector will discuss the pros and cons of investment in real estate and the possibility of a growing real estate bubble.
