TO APPEAR ON CNBCs CAPITAL REPORT WITH ALAN MURRAY AND TYLER MATHISEN
WHAT: Michael K. Powell, FCC Chairman, and Duane Ackerman, CEO of BellSouth, will join CNBC Washington Bureau Chief Alan Murray and Tyler Mathisen on CNBCs Capital Report. In separate interviews, Powell and Ackerman will be asked about the state of the telecom industry and what can be done to fix the sector; what happened at Worldcom/Global Crossing/Qwest; and if deregulation of telecommunications been good or bad for the American economy.
