The Dixie Chicks, country musics power trio — with multi-platinum status, an impressive collection of Grammys, Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music Awards – celebrate the release of their current #1 hit album, Home, (Open Wide/Columbia/Monument) with their first primetime television concert special in two years to be telecast Tuesday, December 10 (8-9 p.m. ET) on NBC.
The Dixie Chicks concert special features the trio – singer Natalie Maines and sisters Emily Robison and Martie Maguire – performing songs from their current hit album, Home – as well as hits from their debut album, Wide Open Spaces, and their second multi-platinum album, Fly. Shot during a sold-out two-night concert at Los Angeles Kodak Theater on August 15 & 16, the special brings the Chicks unparalleled musical style to a national television audience for the first time in two years.
