This NBC movie will feature an unflinching glimpse behind the scenes of the troubled and turbulent sexy 1970s series that titillated audiences as it instantly bounced to the top of the television ratings. Joyce DeWitt, who portrayed Janet Wood in the original series, guest-stars in the insiders look at the unfunny side of comedic success on network television in the movie that will begin filming later this summer. Mirroring the original casting for the series, the producers plan an open casting call in Hollywood in early August to find three young aspiring look-alike actors to portray the leads. Details on the open audition will be announced soon. Stanley M. Brooks (Living with the Dead, Submerged) is the executive producer of the production from NBC Studios and Once Upon a Time Films.
