FANTASTIC VOYAGE: After building a 51-foot boat from scrap wood and other materials salvaged from the streets of New York City, 65 year-old jazzman Poppa Neutrino and his crew set sail on a journey across the North Atlantic. YUKON RUSH: Six young Canadian adventurers construct a homemade raft and float down the Yukon River to the Bering Sea in a 3-month, nearly 2,000-mile race against the oncoming frost. MISSISSIPPI RIVER RIDE: In a Mark Twain-styled adventure, Poppa Neutrino and a rag-tag crew set off to explore the length of the Mississippi River in a homemade raft.
