In anticipation of the release of SNL Studios feature The Ladies Man, NBCs top-rated weekly late-night show Saturday Night Live (11:30 p.m.-1 a.m. ET) presents a special compilation show featuring The Best of Tim Meadows. One of the longest-running cast members on the show, on par with Kevin Nealon and Phil Hartman, Meadows has performed in the cast of SNL for ten years, earning an Emmy nomination in 1993 as part of SNLs writing team. Meadows makes a move to primetime this fall in NBCs The Michael Richards Show.The special highlights many of Meadows memorable performances including such popular characters as Leon Phelps, The Ladies Man; Lionel Osbourne, host of the fictional public affairs show Perspectives and DJ Chris Champagne Garnet, host of The Quiet Storm and the castaways Captain Jim and Pedro with Adam Sandler. In addition, the special features some of Meadows impressions including O.J. Simpson, Ike Turner and an unforgettable scene with Meadows as the late Sammy Davis Jr. opposite Hartmans Frank Sinatra in a lost scene from the Rat Pack classic Oceans 11. The special includes appearances from previous hosts including Christopher Walken, Cameron Diaz, Julianne Moore, Chris Rock, Alec Baldwin, Christina Ricci and Vanessa Williams..
