THE FIRST LADY GETS A NEW CHIEF OF STAFF; PAUL F. TOMPKINS (“Mr. Show”) JOINS CAST — Daggett (David Alan Grier) convinces Judith (Delta Burke) to hire an officious bureaucrat, Sullivan Pope (Paul F. Tompkins), as her new Chief of Staff, then regrets his decision when Sullivan immediately rubs the B-team the wrong way. Meanwhile, Judith agrees to let Sullivan organize an important party for the President’s (guest star David Rasche) top contributors, but the festivities go wildly awry when Sullivan hires Camilla’s (Lea Moreno Young) favorite rock band, “KTP,” and discovers — too late — that it stands for “Kill the President.” Stephen Dunham, Mel Jackson, Lauren Tom and Emmy Laybourne also star..
