From planting a garden to getting creative with sun or shade plants, this is sure to promise fun in the sun for everyone!

Here are a few of Rebecca’s favorite red, white and blue themed ideas:

  • PLANTING A FOURTH OF JULY GARDEN

    Rebecca suggests skipping the usual balloons and paper decorations this year for a colorful patriotic garden with red, white and blue flowers.

    Choose red, white and blue flowers and include an American flag. While red and white flowers are easy to find, blue ones are little bit of a challenge. Plant what will work for your climate and your community.

  • FLOWERS:

    Red Blooms: Geraniums, Petunias, Salvia, Roses, Dahlia, Zinnias, Celosia, Impatiens, Verbena, Red flax Poppies, Gomphrena, Hibiscus, Coleus, Red dragon dracaena, Burning bush, Red bud tree

    White Blooms: Petunias, Geraniums, Impatiens, Begonias, Dianthus, Phlox, Cosmos, Lobelia, Daisies, Mums, Hydrangea, Gomphrena, Jasmine, Moon flowers, Gardenias, Nicotiana, Lilly of the Valley
