Timmeney has spent most of her television broadcasting career working in Eastern Pennsylvania. In 1986-’88, she began working as an anchor/reporter at WFMZ-TV 69 in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

“We are thrilled to add Dawn Timmeney to the morning news team!” says NBC 10 News Vice President Chris Blackman. “Dawn brings years of anchoring and reporting experience, and she will be a great addition to NBC 10!”

Timmeney is a graduate of Emerson College where she earned her B.S. Degree in Communications/Broadcast Journalism.

Having lived in the Pocono’s for many years, Timmeney has become an avid skier!

She and her husband Mike, stepson Eamon, and daughter Oona (an Irish name, which means “unity”) currently reside in Kingston, Pennsylvania. The family is planning to move to the Philadelphia area!
