In this action-packed reality game, a team has 40 minutes to earn four keys which will open doors to a variety of challenges, from answering riddles to beating timed games that test their endurance and skills. They must also earn clues to a code word by playing games that put their fears to the test. Whether its fear of the dark, heights, insects, snakes, spiders, water, or high-risk activities, these contestants face every peril for a shot at winning. Once the time is up, they must enter the treasure room, where they are given two minutes to spell the code word, and if correct, they have the remaining time to collect as many gold coins as they can. Audiences are positively riveted to the action and adventure of Fort Boyard.
